Goal: To provide skill development and a planning opportunity for substance misuse prevention staff and partners to develop a communication plan for their community strategies and activities.
Objectives:
Skill Building:
Participants will understand audience engagement and communications strategy options for different populations.
Participants will understand how to utilize social media, media campaigns, and other resources for their communications toolbox.
Communication Planning:
Participants will identify the components of a communication plan
Participants will complete a communication plan using a guided process.
Registration Begins at 8:30am

Who Should Attend?
This training is designed for Regional Prevention Partnerships grantees and their community partners, Community and state-level substance misuse prevention practitioners.
There is no cost to attend, this training is provided through a grant from the Vermont Department of Health Division of Substance Use Programs.
