9th Annual Mental Health Advocacy Day: Welcoming and Caring Communities – Belonging for All

Save the Date for the 9th Annual Mental Health Advocacy Day with a theme Welcoming and Caring Communities – Belonging for All.
Mental Health Advocacy Day is when the NAMI Vermont community, other organizations, and advocates join together at the State House to raise their voices in support of mental health, talk with legislators, discuss advocacy strategies and network with other advocates.
The morning welcome includes a legislative panel discussion and a second panel discussion moderated by Robin Shabazz with community leaders. The afternoon features opportunities for people to share their experiences and stories of hope and recovery. There are also opportunities to provide testimony at key legislative committees during the week.
Who should attend?
Mental health advocates, peers, family members, professionals, providers, community members, and mental health stakeholders.
